HISTORY

The Members first played Berlin in September 1978 to a  seminal Kreusberg punk Scene, they returned 32 years later.... to record this album....

A Gigantic cloud of volcanic dust had paralysed all Northern European Airspace. We had a Gig the Night before in Ruislip.. I had to make a descision..  I managed to get one of the last places on a ferry leavening at 4 am on 17th April we were on our way. To Berlin By Road and Ferry. A sleepless night and a 14 journey lay ahead of us traffic jams and a 120mph race across Gremany to Berlin. There would be no sleep till Kreusberg.

• 01 am Sat Morning Leave Ruislip after a Gig West London. 
• 03 am Arrive Dover Board ferry for Dunkirk.
• 07 am Continental Time Drive thru France Belgium Holland
• 11 am Arrive Germany.. proceed to drive at speeds of 120mph
• 05 pm Arrive Berlin cancel soundcheck. Sleep
• 11pm  Arrive @ Wild at Heart Club Berlin Eat Hamburger w Blue Cheese
• 01 am Show Starts, entire show recorded Multitrack for Live album.
• 02.30 am Show Finishes Proceed to Consume many Steins of Weissbier
• 05.00 am Arrive Back at Hotel and Sleep
• 12.00 pm Depart Berlin
• 08.00 pm Arrive Dunkirk (good Drive no Trucks on Sundays Here)
• 10.00 pm Set Sail for White Cliffs of Dover.
• 01.30 am Arrive West Byfleet.
